Voice Description

Stefania's background in acting, from children's theatre through to modern drama and Shakespeare makes her a uniquely flexible voice talent. She has a very distinctive, bright, warm, educated, easy on the ears, versatile voice specialising - but not limited to - animation, audiobooks, cartoons, computer games, commercials, corporate work, narration, on hold messages, talking toys, training materials, radio drama, and voice mail greetings. Her enthusiastic, smooth, professional, friendly, teacher style of voice also lends itself to podcasting & e-learning applications.

A native of the USA who now lives in England, she has learned RP as a member of the London Actors Centre; and is now receiving tutorials in the Southern Irish dialect.

Stefania can demonstrate a range of fantasy voices, as well as American South, General American, California and New York dialects. She also speaks intermediate-level Japanese (studied for 9 years).

My Training

I'm a member of the London Actors Centre and Equity. Classes taken at the Centre from 2003 to the present include: British Received Pronounciation (RP) private tuition, Southern Irish dialect (tuition still ongoing), Storytelling Workshop, Shakespeare Classes, Movement Classes, Improvisation, Radio Drama, Voice Over, Audio Work (audiobooks), Radio crossdressing Classes, Voiceover for Cartoons, Fitzmaurice voicework, and Building Character Voices.

I also have a degree in Theatre from the University of Montana, as well as Gradusate Study in Theatre from the University of Illinois. In California, I studied acting and voice over work at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute as well Weist-Barron-Hill.

My Studio Equipment

My equipment is basic and suitable for recording clear, good quality custom audition/demos/voiceovers.

An excellent USB microphone

Sony Sound Forge Audio Studio 8 recording equipment

Projects can be delivered by internet download, email (MP3, WAV, etc.) or or CD (which takes time to be sent internationally).

(If for some reason, the recording must be done in an outside studio, the costs will be incorporated into the voice over fee.)

Additional Skills

I am a voiceover artist-actor who loves and takes pride in her work, and is eager to make a contribution to your project and enterprise. I promise to keep communications on the project's progress frequent, and deliver as soon as possible, usually within 48 hours -- but dependent upon the complexity of the project.
