My Voice Experience

I am a generally a "one take" voice talent and a quick study, essentially. I have done stage acting and naturally project character. I started doing radio spots, commercials and talk shows in my early teens, added acting and in time, moved into TV commercials and talk shows. I have been known to step in spontaneously to MC or commentate fashion shows and other live events, take over the lead in a play from the under study position and I have done a good amount of public speaking over the years. I am currently reading stories for sleep induction.

My Training

this is a natural talent that has led me to various activities and performances but I have also become a teacher, trainer and currently do life coaching and I am a Psychotherapist and Hypno-therapist. I hold a M.A. in Clinical Psychology and have participated or produced uncountable workshops, seminars, classes and entertainment events where I have studied the speakers, presenters, duplicated them or performed, myself.

My Studio Equipment

Very unsure about this part, but will learn as needed. I can use Audio Acrobat via phone to record and download MP3 files for delivery. I have a sound mastering and recording program on my laptop but have not used it yet. I used my Sanyo video camera to produce the audition recording, uploaded it to my computer and then to your site. There is a recording studio in my area that is easy to access if needed.

Additional Skills

As stated above, I act, I do hypnosis, I do therapy, I do public speaking. I have sung in choirs, performed before live audiences of all sizes and in a variety of situations with a variety of performance presentations. I am not afraid of audiences or microphones and can think while performing, hear my own voice while delivering and correct as I go as well as ad lib corrections if necessary rather than cut and re-take.
