Voice Description
As is the case with all people, my recorded voice doesn't "sound like me", however, I have received so many compliments over the years, I have come to appreciate it.
I have made my voice at times, sexy and in a lower range but generally strive for the professional tone used on business voice mail, etc.
Accents come rather easily to me...probably German with an Austrian sound (a la Arnold) is easiest. I am also competent with a Spanish (Mexican) accent. English is my native, first language.

My Voice Experience
I was trained in voice by a professional, symphonic Welsh baritone, Byron Jones, from the second grade through the 12th grade. My vocal range is that of a first soprano but I am comfortable in the second soprano to second alto range. Mr. Jones was (and is!) quite well known in the San Francisco and Bay Area community. Through his tutelage, I was able to secure a number of solo singing jobs while I lived in the Bay Area.
I would describe my speaking voice as that of an alto.
My Training
See "Experience" for training....
Although I have no professional training, my earliest recommendation comes from a man who went from owning his own courier service while doing voice overs, to being an anchor on an affiliate here in Honolulu! Mr. Jim Mendoza told me a number of times in the late 1980's to pursue a career in voice over work.
After receiving yet another compliment on voice mail recording, I decided to do some research on voice over work. Thus, here I am!
I am currently in the process of purchasing a computer and will see that it has recording ability.
