Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

I am able to speak in a very convincing American accent (cheer leader as opposed to Texas Chainsaw Massacre!) as I used to live in New York. I am able to speak Punjabi fluently. I can perform in an Indian accent. I am also able to speak with a very clean cut British accent (think Hugh Grant).

My Voice Experience

My journey through voice over started as a child, creating my own commentary to my mother's various and bad cooking expeditions. I have always had a natural flair for being descriptive, but didn't realise my potential for voiceover work until university. I studied Film and Television and regularly performed all voice overs for any genre of film we were producing (notibly spoofs or documentaries) as a way to cut costs. I then moved to New York to work Triple Threat Television where my voice was used continuously for anything which required a strong and clear accent (answer machines, audio to be transcribed.) I now work in England and have had my voice used in many short films made for the company I work for (for marketing purposes.)

Additional Skills

I have quite a broad range of performing arts skills as from the age of 13 - 22 I took part in many theatrical productions inside and outside of school, college and university. I am able to aquire the relevant character traits required to fit into specific roles and am able to project my voice in a clear and interesting way. I love talking so am able to make long pieces sound interesting to keep audience enthusiasm.
