My Voice Experience
Once upon a time there was a little girl with a tape recorder. She would talk to it about anything, and speak with many different voices.
"You look silly carrying that around everywhere," her friends told her. "You should put that thing away."
But her friends were wrong. The more she talked to her recorder, the more voices she found inside her! The voices she used could make people smile and laugh, or stop and think. The way she talked made others want to listen.
The little girl grew up, but she still liked to have people listen. She went to college, and majored in Theater Arts. She learned even more ways to talk, and how to train her voice to handle the words on stage with different accents.
After college, the girl moved on to radio, starting as a secretary at the Finger lakes Radio Group in 2004. Her voices made commercials for the station, and in 2008, she was given her own weekend show!
