Voice Description

My voice is my favorite thing about me! I have always used it to make strange sounds, bird calls, different character voices, played with accents and I sing in many different styles too. Using my voice feels good! I mean really! I can do very young children's voices. I love doing a general British accent and a general Germanic sexy and/or domineering accents. I also do a varietal Spanish accent. I have a great commercial or cartoon character voice as I'm an actress. I sing lots of styles very well and also write music and lyrics if jingles are needed. I've been a radio announcer for years so I can do the smooth dj voice. I can also do news reports or informational speaking. I have a good steady tone for audiobooks as well.

My Voice Experience

Recently I've written and performed (singing)the theme song for a TV series previously on ABC called "Less Than Perfect". I also have some other theme and commercial songs ready to go for the right product or show.

I've done English language tapes for the purpose of teaching Japanese speakers English.

I have been a radio announcer (with a 3rd class FCC license) for years, doing both music shows and news reporting for several stations including National Public Radio, KCHO in Chico, CA.

I'm an actress and have done many characters.

I have a college degree in Film Communications, BA from CSU, Chico. I have taken broadcasting and music classes at Santa Monica College. I have taken acting at University of Montana and have done regional theater for college credit.

I have worked on both sides of film, music and televison production so I have a good sense of what is necessary for a successful project or session. It always helps to know something of what the technical people are going through so I can make it easier for them by doing my job better! I am a writer both words and music and concepts. I am very good at improv. I am open minded and get along well in nearly every environment and situation, I'm very easy to work with. I have a youthful and cheerful attitude which always makes a session go better. I am professional and prepared to meet the requirements asked when I accept a job.
