I have worked in theater in the past, though nothing recently. My voice is very versatile. I can be soft, rich, and sexy or bright and peppy, depending on what is needed. My voice is primarily unaccented, though an occasional midwestern pronounciation can find its way in.

My Voice Experience

My experience is limited to a very short job where I recorded the audio for a slide presentation. The company is a retail company outside the US, and I was recording for non-native English speakers.

I am also working as a volunteer for Librivox (website), a non-profit group attempting to record public domain literature for open distribution.

My Training

I performed in poetry interp in for speech and debate club in high school, as well as participating in the plays we produced through my entire high school career.

I attended college for a year as a theater arts major, but dropped out due to financial reasons. I worked for a while for the Lyric Theater in Minneapolis, and later for Theatre in the Rough in Juneau, AK.

I have had occasion to teach classes in computer software, and so I'm familiar with professional presentation, as well as artistic endeavors.

My regular full-time job is as a database and web applications developer. I'm very familiar with computers and the internet, file management, and handling new software.
