My Voice Experience

I have been a professional vocalist and recording artist for 8 years now. I just recently started getting into voice over work. It's an area of the industry I've always wanted to get involved with and have been told have a natural ability for. Most of my experience has been as a studio singer- styles including pop, rock, R&b, and country.

In 2000, I signed my first major recording contract with Cash Money/Universal Records. I was employed there as a pop/R&B singer for 3 years. After that, I changed hats a bit and began working as an electro artist under Device Party, a small indie label outside of Chicago.

Currently, I reside in New York, singing and touring with a band/art project called Fischerspooner. I've also recorded background vocals for Carina Round and Frank Portalatin. When not on the road, I'm involved in various song-writing projects and keeping busy doing voice overs!

My Training

I have a dual major in communication studies and dance performance/choreography from the University of Iowa. A vocal student since childhood, I received most of my professional training from the talents of Chris "C Major" Robinson, Marvin McIntyre of Marvelous Enterprises in Atlanta, and Erin Moore.
