My Voice Experience

I go to Art Institute of Atlanta as an Audio major and occasionally we have to do voice overs for projects. One day in a MIDI class my professor (Bill Allgood, owner of Allgood Productions) was looking for a female voice over for a project he was working on for a client. After recording the VO Mr. Allgood told me I had a voice that was good for VO's and TV. I hadn't really given VO's any thought at that time but after his comment I decided to give it some serious thought. The next day after he worked with the client on the project, the client even said that he liked my voice better than the original VO. My professor referred me to a website and I decided to give the VO's a try

My Training

As I said I go to Art Institute of Atlanta as an Audio Major. I am currently finishing up my Sophmore year in the Bachelor's Program. In previous classes I've learned about replacing sound fx, automated dialogue replacement, and music in plenty of classes. Amongst the classes I've taken that deal with voice overs are Sound Design and Audio Post Production.

My Studio Equipment

I use the studio at The Art Institute of Atlanta frequently. I just have to sign up for time. In the studio they have a SSL Console 4000G+, ProTools 7.3.1, several pieces of outboard gear, A list of several mics, more information available upon request.
