My Voice Experience

I had the pleasure of narrating ZZ Packer's debut collection of short stories, DRINKING COFFEE ELSEWHERE - "Jordan's narration links seamlessly with the text to provide a vivid and entertaining production that supports the author's reputation as an artist with language."—AudioFile

I currently am the voice of TANYA (the doctor) on the award-winning podcast WE'RE ALIVE, A STORY OF SURVIVAL by Kc Wayland and Shane Salk. If you love a good old-time zombie radio drama, this one's for you!

I've done ADR with various loop groups on commercials, film, and television in both New York and Los Angeles. My first steady ADR job in L.A. was on Stephen Bochco's Cop Rock - remember that?

I played the role of Hannah (a young slave) in THE HEART OF BIDDY MASON by Ted Lange (Loveboat) which was performed live at the Wells Fargo Radio Theatre in the Gene Autry Museum. So exciting - the costumes, ol' time mics, foley and orchestra on stage as well!

My Training

I have studied with Stephanie Blume, an agent from Imperium-7 as well as taking workshops from CherylLynne Carter, founder and president of Precise Talent Voice Over Mgmt, and Rick Zieff. I am currently enjoying studying with David H. Lawrence XVII and Lori Tritel. Both are amazing teachers and complement each other well!

I hold a BFA from the University of Connecticut. I've performed on many television shows and films, including Friends, The Shield, Mind of Mencia, Passions, Desperate Housewives, Better Off Ted, LIFETIME'S Accused at 17, and the feature film Post Grad. I love performing in plays and staged readings. In the past couple of years, I have taught acting to children from 6 to 10 years old and have given a workshop/seminar on the campus of UCLA to acting majors.

Minoring in English at UCONN helped me to become the executive editor for Black Talent News, the hardcopy publication, which is no longer in circulation. I now edit books, bios, and am currently editing the wording for a Pilates website.
