My Voice Experience

For most of my jobs, I have used my voice to earn my keep. From Administrative Assistant to Operator to Manager, I have always had to know what to say and how to say it.

The job that had the biggest impact on my voice training was Phone Sex Operator. I did this job for three years and was very good at it. One job I had as a PSO required me to be a white woman, black woman, asian woman, hispanic woman, elderly woman, transsexual woman and a girlie boy ON DEMAND! (If the customer called for it, I had to be it.) If I didn't know how to be them, I had better learn quick or that was some of my paycheck going to another PSO!

I would describe it as an intense job that required you to be in character all the time and convincing each time. I could bring that to voiceover work and do quite well with it!

My Training

I have trained with Joanne Joella, formerly of Mike Lemmon Casting in Philadelphia, and Chuch McKibble of Mel Blanc fame.

I have training as a singer from MAMA (Mount Airy Moving Arts) in Philadelphia, and have had some private training with singing.

I have done approx. 2 years of College in Radio, TV, Film and Liberal Arts w/ English emphasis.
