Voice Description

My voice is very versatile.
My normal tone is very midium pitch but it can go down to the prince of darkness level,
and also can go up to sound like a girl (arguable).

MyVoice can do sexy, sleazy, iconic, serious, stupid, heroic, bad, cruel, posh Japanese, traditional Japanese, old man, middle aged, professional, mean Yakuza, samurai. It can sound agressive or very soft spoken.

My first language is Japanese. But I am fluent in English with mild Japanese accent mixed with London and Manchester and a hint of American accents. With guidence, I can probably sound quite convincingly foreign. I can over-emphasize heavy Japanese accent still conprehensible to the English natives.

In Japanese, I am almost perfectly potent to mimic any diarects. I can also do Americans / English people speaking Japanese with their accents.

My Voice Experience

I have been doing my Radio Show RADIO MISO

Every week I use my voice within radio dramas, comedy sketches, interviews etc.
I also write those materials, edit them and mix them. I produce audio soundscapes with voices of other voice personalities and sound effects to create audio spectacle.

Through this programme, my voice has been used in hundreds of different ways.

I have also been a recording artists as singer. Currently not singing much.

My Training

I studied English and American Literature and English Linguistics at Obirin University, Tokyo, graduated in 1993.

Then I came to study performing arts at South Manchester College, there I collaborated with actors, musicians, studio engineers.

I attended Goldsmiths' College to study music but dropped out after one year.

Since I have been on stage as a band front man, did club live circuits, gigs etc.

Currently writing, presenting and producing own radio show on Resonance FM.
