My Voice Experience

My career includes 6 years as an on air personality. I am currently the co-host of a morning show in Las Vegas. Writing copy and producing commercials is a part of my skill set. I have recorded commercials for car dealerships, day spas, hardware stores, shopping centers, travel agencies, fitness centers and the list goes on. My commercials have been heard on radio and television. I have done voice acting for private projects. Recorded a training DVD for a major company. Diversity is my strong suit.

My Training

My introduction into the voice over business began with a seminar in how to be successful as a voice over artist. I recorded a demo that eventually led to my getting a gig as a radio personality. I was a morning co-host on a classic rock station, reading news, sports and weather. I hosted my own talk show on Sundays where I interviewed local dignitaries. From there I landed another job as the host of my afternoon radio show on a smooth jazz station. Each of those positions were successful for me and led to a raise in ratings in my time slots. From there I went back to college and got a Bachelor Degree in Music Business Management. This experience taught me how to read music. I am therefore ready to take on jingle projects as well. All of these experiences have made me extremely comfortable behind the mic. Back on the radio now on a morning show allows me to continually improve my overall on air delivery.

Additional Skills

I am very familiar with the voice over process from copy writing to editing to production. As a radio personality I learned that to sell a product to the consumer requires the voice over artist to be whoever the client needs you to be to get the job done. I can do that.
