Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
Varieties starting with warm, human, real and sensual right down to 'phone sex/porn star', from simply generic and non-regional to 'computerized phone voice', well- enunciated high-energy top-speed 'auctioneer'/'car dealer' tempo with no problem. Also able to produce clipped, aristocratic British style and 'down-under' Australian. Have been often mistaken as being from 'New Yawk/Bwooklyn'. Old 'Southern belle' Scarlett O'Hara honey-drawl to modern vernacular versatility. 'Lounge lizard'/camp/comedic/impressions. Getting things down in 'one take' is a specialty/positive challenge. And I sing, too!
My Voice Experience
I'll try anything and everything once, and probably have! From MC'ing at Comedy Works (way back in the roaring '80's), years of working with commercial phone systems (Avaya, etc), nightclub spots, phone-sex sales, internet radio spots ('Harlan and the Monsters of Rock Radio Network'), retail and business ad pitching, personal phone systems/voice mail, to 'just playing around' to see what happens (why, my own mother thinks she's dialed a wrong number!). I'm non-union and a free-lance free-agent. No online demo available yet; still working on it. Just give me a call and give me a listen, and 'just let me do the talking!'
