My Voice Experience

I worked for a program through ABC-channel -7 in San Francisco, and I did many of their advertisements,voice-overs for public service announcements and many other projects. I worked with a theatre company and did the commercials for Kiss.F.M. radio. Many employers had me do their out-going voice mail messages.

My Training

I have a degree from Mills College in Dramatic Arts and Creative Writing. I perform a lot and I write and direct plays as well. I took a lot of public speaking classes and gained a great deal of experience. My real experience comes from childhood, I would imitate all my relatives and their friends, older people, younger people, people with different dialects/accents, and people would ask me to do voices and so it began. I grew up playing violin and piano,and my mother sang opera. The music helped me with different dialects because some languages seem to have a certain rhythm to them and the inflection of the voice is emphasized on certain word placements. I love different dialects/accents and this is one reason I love to travel to other countries to hear the authentic sound of peoples voices.
