My Voice Experience

One of my first voice over jobs was in Hong Kong while I was there working with a showband. A producer hired me to do a melancholy radio ad. During my stay in Italy an English teacher hired me to record lessons for his students. Watt's restaurant used my voice for their messaging board. A few years ago I was hired to be the voice of the character River Spirit, reciting poetry with classical guitar in the background. The show appeared in a number of Toronto festivals and was printed to cd. I have also done some volunteer broadcasting for Voiceprint.

My Training

I am a vocalist and I graduated from the Humber College Jazz program. During that time I received vocal mic technique and theatre training. I have mc'd shows, benefits and participated in community theatre. My vocal coach helps me with my speaking voice as well as my singing voice. I also studied with voice-over coach Ellie Ray Hennesey.

My Studio Equipment

I have a Macbook and I use Garageband.
