Voice Description

I have a wide range with my voice pitch, and also a wide variety of character. My voice can range from an exciting/high energy mood, to professional,serious calm, and surene. I love entertaining children with my variety of cartoon character voices: B.J.from Barney, munchkins, Dora the Explorer, clowns, etc. I can also do a dark and deep demonic voice. I can't forget my famous instantanious sneeze. I like to step up to the challenge for whatever is thrown my way, and I make it happen.

My Voice Experience

My current job is at a local television station. I am always trying to humor people by using funny voices, and their response always is, "You are in the wrong business... You should be selling your voice!" So I decided to try it! For the past five years I have had some experience in doing voice over jobs and some acting for :15 to :60 second commercials. I was even in a 1 year voice over contract with a local college.

My Training

I have a 4 year liberal arts college degree in General Track Communications with an art minor from Mount Vernon Nazarene University in 1999. My training for voice over's would have to include the required radio classes, and on air radio experience from college. I currently work at a television station and have been doing voice over work for the station for about 5 years for many of the clients that request my voice type.

Additional Skills

As a child I grew up taking voice lessons, and am currently in the singing worship team at the church I attend. I have a history in taking dance lessons for 15 years which has ventured me all the way to performing in 3 places in Russia, Disney World, and Las Vegas. I have been involved in the arts and entertainment industry most of my life, and even auditioned and got the role for 2 commercials in the past. I love to perform, whether it's singing, dancing, all the way to voice over work.
