As a new talent, the extent of my voice over work has been limited to videos for ISTE (International Society for Technology Education) presentations. Each year our office presents to an audience between 30 and 100 attendees. Our presentations include videos which highlight our work with teachers and students in New York City. We create various videos that are shown at this conference. I have also recorded children's books and poems for students to be used in the classroom. Additionally, I have recorded applications "How To's" for teachers to support their integration of technology into their instruction. Just for fun, I create personal travel videos that I narrate.
My formal education includes the following,
Bachelors of Science in Computing and Management
Masters of Science in Early Childhood Education
Professional Diploma in School Leadership and Technology
My burning desire to become a successful voice talent. In making this career transition, I am being mentored by Susan Berkley at The Great Voice Company. I have attended several Boot Camps, tele-seminars and other workshops with Susan and her fantastic team of professionals.
My home studio consist of the Apple 27 inch iMac computer.
I currently have a Blue Yeti Microphone with Bose headphones.
I can record audio in either GarageBand and Audacity.
If needed, I have access to several professional studios minutes from my front door.
Dedication and determination to providing quality work is very important to me. As an educator, it is vital to model the expectations that are set before students. We instill in them to always present their best work; therefore, it is vital that they always see and hear our best. Students are charged with writing and speaking with clarity, knowledge and confidence. These qualities are evident throughout all of my work, especially voice over.
I am dedicated to perfecting my skills as a voice talent. My ultimate desire as a voice talent is to provide high quality work in a timely fashion.
