My Voice Experience
Recording my first audiobook this last spring while simultanously filming an on-screen video segment for a children's curiculum made me realize how much I love this work. Besides the audiobook for Beacon Hill Press and the on screen children's video for Word Action, I have recorded extensively for the Global Ministry Center of the Church of the Nazarene. My awards include first place in speech compitions at the university level and for in a state wide Rotary Club event.
My Training
I began my career in theater, studing with voice coaches and acting coaches as a teenager. In college I took several courses in rhetoric and speech, placing first, second and third in a variety of speach compititions.
My Studio Equipment
I have the M-Audio Microphone and software in a sound proof booth. It is great for quickly uploading and sending sound files for vocal recording.
