Voice Description

My voice is best suited for characters and stories of a cartoon or comic nature, as I would prefer to voice the 'bad guy' in a cartoon or any number of comic characters such as geeks, wise crackers or camp characters. I can use a deep tone or a higher voice as necessary. My accent is of southern England, and it is best that I stick to it.

My Voice Experience

All of my experience has been with amateur theatre groups and as part of my studies. I have had named parts in several plays and musicals, such as Lust, Amadeus, Good Person of Setzuan and Grease, in the latter I performed all of the voices in the 'drive-in movie' - the hero, the scientist, the heroine and a werewolf's howl!

My Training

I am currently in the second year of a course of Film and Television Studies with Drama at Brunel University in Uxbridge. Prior to this I studied Drama at GCSE and A-level, and was usually in 2 or 3 plays at any point during my studies.

Additional Skills

I can sing and have a bass voice, although I do not list this as one of my primary skills. I am very interested in films, and am very fond of cartoons and Japanese anime. I also am keen on vampire and monster films, science fiction, and of course comedy. My knowledge of some of these is not as thorough as that of some hardcore fans, but I am very eager to learn and I like to think easy to get on with.
