Giving heat announcements and score updates live at the stadium. Sharon was offered this job after they heard her on the radio.

Reading and recording news bulletins for a number of commercial radio stations and RSLs in the south east of England. As well as providing voice over talent for adverts

My Training

All of Sharon's training has been on-the-job. Sharon left school at 17, with 10 GCSE's (1A*, 7A's, 1B, 1C).

Sharon joined her local radio station on a work experience basis and within a few weeks was on the air as Breakfast Show Sidekick and reporter in the news bulletins. She soon progressed to full time news reader. Sharon put in a lot of long hours and spent a lot of time in the studio for voice training.

Sharon then branched out to recording in house adverts for sister stations within the group.

Sharon has since progressed to gaining work at a number of stations and gained the position of Sports Editor at Sovereign Radio, which she held for four years. During this time, Sharon was regularly called upon to voice pieces for stations in the TLRC group.

Sharon has since returned to the freelance circuit, working for several stations in the South of England, as well as working for English speaking stations in Spain and providing voice overs for a number of smaller stations in America. She also provides professional business presentations and award entries for companies.
