My Voice Experience

My experience includes voice work for PSA's for healthcare, animal services as well as corporate service announcements. I've voiced several phone systems for businesses in the GTA area. Other work includes packages for kids game shows, real estate programming, investment shows - and a plethora of other newsmagazine programming. I've been doing voice work on and off for the last 7 years and I work in television with access to v/o booths. I can certainly provide references upon request.

My Training

I fully admit to no formal training. It actually all began when there wasn't enough money in the budget to hire a professional v/o person - and it grew from there. I've worked as a tv producer for about five years and am now in the broadcasting realm. I do volunteer for amateur theatre - and have been involved with theatre (on stage and behind the scenes) for approximately 20 years.

Additional Skills

Having access to a controlled voice over booth is huge asset for me and I can transfer files electronically. I've actually written some spots that I've voiced which comes in handy when determining the feel and flow of the piece. I'm very conversational and do write in that style as opposed to a traditional corporate way.
