Voice Description

My voice naturally is very smooth, sultry, sophisticated, attractive. As a voice over talent and in doing voice over work, my versatility abounds. In performing voice overs for narratives, podcasts, audio books, I can be very warm, inviting, relaxed and soothing. For commercials, radio, voice over acting, my talent range includes sexy, exciting, fun and enthusiastic. When it comes to professional presentations, on hold messages, voice mail greetings and the like, I can be succinct, smooth, savvy and convincing.
I have the ability to perform many dialects convincingly, including a southern drawl, valley-girl, Middle Eastern and more.
Whether voice over acting, narrating, performing jingles and other singing, voicemail greetings, audio book readings and most any voice over talent needed, I am a natural, performer that listeners really enjoy.

My experience runs the gammut from public speaking, to narrating books and radio as follows:

My Training

Most of my training has been hands on. As a matter of fact, while hosting my own local access cable show in Richmond, Virginia, the programming director for Rejoice Radio heard my voice and asked me to come in for an interview. Within 48 hours, I was on the air. Within 1 year, the programming director for Kiss FM heard my voice and put me on Kiss FM as well.
I did take several communications classes while attending Oakland University, as well as a voice class. I also attended a writing class at VCU under the direction of Marita Golden, professor.

Additional Skills

My voice I have been told is very soothing, very attractive, very wonderful. As an on-air personality, I attracted quite a fan base. As a matter of fact, this past holiday season, I participated in a "Sign & Dine" book signing and performed several poems. One of the gentlemen, said my voice sounded so familiar and asked if I had ever done radio. I went into my on-air persona from several years ago, and had to sign his book with my on-air personality name.
I am grateful and excited to possess the type of voice and sultry sound that grabs people and holds them captive, allowing me to deliver my message effectively.
I have also been able to have folk in stitches, laughing uncontrollably at my different dialect performances, whether a Valley-girl, a Hillbilly, or a Middle Eastern store owner.
