While I am comfortable speaking British English I can very happily imitate all the regional ways in which English is rendered in India.I can speak in chaste Hindi like the North Indians do and also its 'adapted' versions spoken in South India.

My Voice Experience

For seven years I did the script and female voice in ENGLISH and HINDI for all the 5 IN-FLIGHT INDIAN MUSIC packages (film, classical and regional music and children's programmes) played on all flights of AIR INDIA under contract with HMV.

For over two decades I have done RADIO broadcasts (AKASHWANI, MUMBAI) of TALKS, INTERVIEWS, SHORT STORIES and SKITS written by me in ENGLISH for both local and national programs and a few INTERVIEW and MUSIC based programs in HINDI.

For over two decades I have done both pre-recorded and live hosting on TELEVISION (MUMBAI DOORDARSHAN) in ENGLISH, and live anchoring of music and dance programs on STAGE in ENGLISH and HINDI.

I have RECORDED CASSETTES of SHORT STORIES FOR CHILDREN (JEDI music)

I am a merit scholar of Mumbai University with a first class degree in English Literature and German as a subsidiary.
I have done a voice workshop with India's leading male voice - Partap Sharma.
I have been a journalist and guest lecturer in communication and creative writing for over 2 decades. I was with the Times of India as Deputy Editor FEMINA, I have a published book of short stories for adults called FESTIVE SEASON, a biography SURRENDER of a senior police officer and innumerable articles in national newspapers and periodicals on women empowerment, achiever profiles, the arts etc..
