Voice Description
Most people I talk with describe my voice as confident, clear, deep, and sometimes profound. Mature, versatile, energetic, and soothing are also words I would use to describe my voice.
It just all depends on what the situation calls for. When I serve tables during the day I try to use more high pitch welcoming voice. But when I work with the local sports teams at night my voice turns into a more fast paced, commanding, fun voice.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I originally lived in west Texas until I was ten and I find that every now and then a word will spark that accent. Although I have never tried using it all the way through a read I am always willing to give it the old college try.
I love movie quotes and my co-workers claim that I am pretty good at matching some of the voices from my favorite movies. But I can't say that there is one specific character or person that can be my claim to fame. But as stated before I am always willing to give it a try.
My Voice Experience
I got into voice work when I started and landed the unlikely job of Public Address Announcer for the athletic department. Turns out there was a hidden talent in me and I seized the opportunity. I have been a local PA Announcer for 8 years now and have worked for several teams in my area. I moved from being just the back up to now having my pick of events.
I also have recently started an internet radio station that features local music. Many times in my life I was told that I should be in radio so about two years ago I took it upon myself to start a radio station. We do several podcast and live broadcasts which have given me more time working with my voice. Plus it has taught me a lot about equipment and editing.
Plus recently the university has asked voice over several of their commercials.
My Training
In high school I was apart of the National Hispanic Institute which taught me about debate, public speaking, and more importantly how to handle a microphone. Which was a big benefit when I started working as a PA Announcer.
My Studio Equipment
I work with either my toshiba laptop or my dell media station tower. I like to use my Blue Snowball Microphone when recording digitally. I have a small sound proof closet. I also have other mics and mixer's handy in case I can't quite capture the sound I am looking for. I am very comfortable using Adobe Audition and can deliver sound clips through the internet in many different ways.
Additional Skills
Working with the local sports teams and internet radio station has allowed me the opportunity to create and edit many scripts for commercials or promo spots. Also my girlfriend is a marketing graduate who would have no problem doing some small copywriter work.
