I have worked for a television station doing voice over work on informational, and educational pieces for many years. The type of pieces themselves have varied greatly; from pieces that required a very “peppy” and excited tone, to an average news style, to a very solemn reserved voice. While working there I had a short conversation with one of our states top "voices" and she told me that I should sign up for voice123, she said I have a great voice for voice overs, so here I am taking her advice.
I have a bachelors degree in video production education. This means that I learned how to record and edit high quality voice over/audio recordings for any professional situation. This also means I was trained to be a good public speaker so I could formally teach to a large audience. I also was trained as a theater and film actor for 4+ years and I still consider it a hobby today. I have won awards for my acting and video production.
Professionally I worked for a local TV station for 5+ years where I did voice over work for interstitial programs and news packages. I also edited audio for many videos during this time. All while being coached and mentored by seasoned news/tv professionals.
I have access to a professional voice over studio very near to my house.
Along with my voice over work; I write, act and film as much as I can, it is my profession and my passion. This means I put my whole heart into this work. You can count on me to be very easy to work with and positive about this work. My only jobs since college have been in television, video production and education, all of which help me improve my voice skills.
Beyond v.o. work I am becoming a fitness nut, I love to do things to stay in shape I love the outdoors and I love my wife and kids!
