Voice Description

I currently am among a pool of voice talent used at a radio station cluster in Seattle and am utilized ranging from the mid-thirties warm and friendly voice to the excited early-twenties college kid. I have a pretty adjustable voice, have been singing in a band since I was 12 and have good control over my tone. My voice is fun and professional!

My Voice Experience

I started as kid hosting my own radio shows to my tape deck and in high school graduated to hosting and editing the TV program. I had the bug and worked with KAOS in my hometown while I was going to Evergreen State College for Film Theory, but I enjoyed the audio production and voice work I was doing there more. I moved to Seattle and started working with a PBS station there and got a lot of voiceover exerpience voicing station IDs and promos and dug myself in deeper to loving hte industry. Currently I work with a pool of audio producers that assemble station spots for a radio cluster of Entercom radio stations in Seattle and have been doing that for almost two years.

Now I'm ready to keep moving on to the next step in my career and am looking to pick up additional work. I love the industry, I love most of the people I've had a chance to work with and I'm gung ho to keep my work experience growing!

My Training

1994-1997: Lead singer of a band with two locally produced albums.
1997-2001: College studies of film and video production including levels of audio production, acting and post production skills.
2001-2003: Interned at a Seattle PBS station, did voice overdubbing for station IDs and promo and narration for a few productions.
2007-Current: Spot tagging and other voice production work for 4 Seattle radio stations.
