Voice Description
I studied classical singing -- I am a baritone -- for 2 years at a Music Conservatory in France when I was 18. I then was the soloist in a choir for 25 years. I also recorded a 10 title album, accompanied by a 48 musician symphonic orchestra.
I was an English teacher for 18 years in Paris.
I also was an actor-director for 7 years at a University Theatre -- Théâtre Espagnol de la Sorbonne -- which is when and where I learned how to "interpret" texts.
In Haiti, for the past 20 years, I recorded numerous radio-spots for various companies.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I am fluent in English, Haitian Creole and, of course, French. I have a fair command of Spanish -- both from Spain and the Caribbean (Dominican Republic).
I can be a good "English Lord".
I can very easily reproduce Italian and/or German sentences and, generally, I have a "good ear" for foreign languages.
I can easily capture foreign accents.
I can still sing -- in French, English and Spanish.
My Voice Experience
Over the past twenty years, several radio-spots for various companies in Haiti. Texts were recorded in French, Haitian Creole and/or English.
Once, a long time ago in Paris, I recorded the English (British English) commentaries of a TV documentary on Nature.
I also participated in the Radio version of Aimé Césaire's "Tragédie du Roi Christophe", in 1969 in Paris.
My Training
Licence ès Lettres and Maîtrise ès Lettres anglaises (1972), Sorbonne, Paris. Later, as a teacher at the Sorbonne, besides teaching, I monitored the Phonetic Lab for many years.
I was an amateur theatre actor for 7 years in the late 60s in Paris.
I still, occasionally, coach students who participate in poetry contests, here in the US.

Additional Skills
Friends -- and foes alike! -- usually call my voice: exceptionnaly warm and charming.
Having a non negligeable experience in acting and singing -- both classical and "crooner-like" --, I can add that my voice is very flexible and can adapt to a great variety of situations.
Being fluent in four languages -- French, English, Haitian Creole and Spanish -- and having a near-perfect accent in all four, is a great asset.
