My Voice Experience

I started out as a rapper learning voice control and timing over hip - hop beats, as I learned more about recording. I began to experiment with different characters people that talked to me regularlly didn't know it was me until I repeated the phrases in the same tone. I got a job in radio at W.T.I.K. 1310 in Durham, N.C. off of Leon St. and That's when the real experience began. I was live as well as recording commercials for different clients at the radio station. I would bring in my beat machine and or play a instrumental and do it. I took that experience with me to a professional studio and I breifly started a radio show called Gospel Vibe. and I played the character Dr. Vibe. At the studio I would professionally prep my shows weeks in advance I'd program the interviews set by various gospel recording labels and that was it, I was in love. Since then I have built my own studio and completed several different projects. Started my own internet radio station.

My Training

Most of my experience comes from personal projects. My training comes from different professionals listening and telling me ways to correct my breath issues. I also listen to televison and listen to radio with a different ear and because of my eagerness to learn I picked it up pretty fast.
