Voice Description

I have a very flexible mid-range voice capable of emulating a variety of ages ranging between 17 and 65. I'm also quite good at picking up various regional accents.

My regular speaking voice is that of a confident Average Joe with a hint of intellectual stimulation. That said, I can play a range of characters, as I find that to be something quite enjoyable. I can give something as serious as a business presentation or sales pitch, or something as light-hearted and fun as some advertisement for a music service or weekend getaway.

My voice is also by default the average Midwest North American accent that most broadcasters train for.

I've done a small bit of voice acting for some independent games and online radio shows. I really enjoy becoming a character.

All I have is a high school diploma. I have no formal acting training.

Blue Snowball USB Microphone (very high-quality), makeshift microphone cover, various open source tools such as Audacity and Ardour. I usually encode files into high-quality FLAC.

Additional Skills

I'm told that I'm quite expressive in both my appearance and voice. I can project myself accurately as a character, and tend to really get into my roles if a plot is involved.

One practice I've gotten into while doing advertisement pitches is that I actually do research on the company, their products, and the specific demographics they're catering to. This is a great way to keep the audience in mind.
