Voice Description
Typically when I use a voice, I create a person in my head, and use all I know about this person to decide how their voice should sound. Once I have a character in mind, I can get it to say pretty much anything. I can make my voice low and sultry to imitate people such as Barry White, Sean Connery, Billy Connelly, or even Richard Nixon. On the other hand I can make my voice sound like a teen-ager barely breaking puberty. I have been told that I have a natural ear for accents. I speak, but not fluently, French and Spanish. I can, however, produce an excellent accent for both just by reading the text.

My Voice Experience
I am trying to break into the business as a voice actor. I have never had a job as voice talent, but I have been making voices my entire life. I have been entertaining my friends and family for years.
My Training
This is going to sound funny, but here it goes. I really learned how to do voice acting by playing dungeons and dragons. If you don't know, it is a role playing game played only with dice, paper, you and your friends. To play this game, you pretend to be someone else, plain and simple. For me that means another attitude, another voice, another mindset. Sometimes you die, and have to make someone new again. Another chance, another voice.
I played it first when I was nine years old, I still play on occasion.

Additional Skills
I love Animated programs, I have an extensive collection. I can recognize so many of the voice actors. They create a voice for one purpose, and then it just gets recycled for another. The video game industry is using more and more voice talent as there games become more cinematic. I was a video store clerk for four years, I have seen more commercials, movies, TV shows and foreign films than I knew existed. My experience is my life, I play video games and wish to be a character, I watch movies and mimic their voices.
