Voice Description

I can make my voice sound soothing for straight reads, or excited and energetic for narrations. My voice is middle-of-the-road...not too bassy or high-pitched.

My Voice Experience

I have fifteen years of on-air and production experience at various non-commercial (NPR) stations in Illinois & Indiana, plus one year of on-air experience with a Classic Rock format.

Spent three years as in-house Advertising Director for a diesel services company. I scripted & produced radio ads for our company that were aired in the Des Moines market. I have also scripted and voiced one :30 TV spot.

I have message on hold experience in the last calendar year, as well as training/instructional video voiceover work.

My Training

B.A. Communications, University of Illinois at Springfield, 1994.

Fifteen years experience in non-commercial broadcasting.

Experience with radio drama and live radio theater.

20+ years as performing musician in folk, jazz, rock and African genres (Guitar, drums, ethnic percussion). Currently producing my first CD of all-original material.
