I have a rich voice with a lot of range. I do characters who are young, old, silly and maniacal. I've got a friendly voice for promos and I'm not a afraid to have fun. At the same time I've got the intelligence and calm to do narration. I've trained as a theatrical actor and I bring a lot of vocal power to the roles I do.

My Voice Experience

I did all the voices and most of the sound effects for two cartoons by Brett W. Thompson. Both of which have been featured in film festivals both here in the US and internationally. One of the cartoons, "Fluidtoons" won the Atlanta Animation Slam, and the audience choice award at the first ever IFL Film Festival in Tallahassee. Fluidtoons was also used in a film class to demonstrate how voice can turn a good cartoon into a great cartoon. I also have done the voice characterizations for "Skeleton Farm", "Coffin Dodgers", and "Dead Baby Jokes". I've worked in Studio with Bob Bergen during his March 2008 workshop in Atlanta. I've served as news broadcaster for WVFS in Tallahassee.

My Training

I received my degree in Theatre from Florida State University in 2005. I trained at Shakespeare and Company in Lenox, MA. I worked at Shakespeare and Company for two years as an actor, director, and teacher in their award winning education program. At Shakespeare and Company I trained extensively in Linklater Voice technique. I recently trained with Bob Bergen, the voice of Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Luke Skywalker, and countless others.

Additional Skills

I've trained with some absolutely terrific teachers as a theatrical actor, film actor, and voice-over artist. I've performed by audiences of several thousand as an actor. I broadcast live news reports (which I composed) for an extensive period of time on WVFS Tallahassee. I have experience in sales having worked at Trader Joe's in Midtown Atlanta where I interact with hundreds of customers per day. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida State where I was in the University honors program. In my tours at Shakespeare and Company I've performed and taught for five straight months while managing to keep my voice strong and dynamic.
