Voice Description

I have a enthusiastic, smooth and professional voice when it comes spots/promos (that run on our College radio station). I've voiced spots for my local Walmart, one of my town's Optometrists (Dr. Michael Miller), an auto-body repair shop (Chado's Auto body and Glass), and the very radio station that I'm apart (College Radio, KVCO 88.3).

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

While I have no "real" experience in voicing anything else other than spots/promos/30 - 60 sec commercials, I believe I am VERY capable of voicing characters as well (I have a particularly "villainous" guttural voice that I've been honing over the years that I think would work wonderful for anyone that had a project that could use it). On top of that I'm willing to try anything! (I also do a decent Sean Connery impersonation)

My Voice Experience

Been apart of my College's radio station (KVCO 88.3) for the past year and a half. Within that time I've learned a lot about producing spots and running a radio show. I've also recorded several spots (ads) ranging from my local Walmart to a couple small businesses in the area.

My Training

I am currently working on a degree at Cloud County Community College, in Radio Broadcasting. I've also taken a slew of journalism classes, such as: Newspaper Production, Advanced Newspaper Production, and Basic Media Writing (This, along with my radio classes, is where I learned to write scripts for spots and promos). My Radio experience includes: Intro to Radio, Radio Production, Advanced Radio Production, and (currently) Sports Broadcasting (I don't use my voice for this class, I mainly operate the "board" for my college's basketball games).

My Studio Equipment

I have unrestricted access to the radio production equipment that my College's radio uses. My instructor has given me his blessing to use the studio to record practically anything I need to!

Adobe Audition is the recording software we use for our spots, promos, and anything else that may need recording. I can honestly say that I'm very capable of editing my own voice recordings (eliminating dead-air and making sure background music isn't drowning out my voice, for instance).

Additional Skills

I'm currently apart of my College's radio broadcasting (as well as production) classes. The past year and a half I've read several promos and spots for the local businesses in the town where I reside. Along with that I'm also experienced with how to properly edit my work when it's finished to guarantee it's quality (I often have one of my peers evaluate my work before it goes on the air just to make sure I didn't miss any dead-air or if the background music is overshadowing my voice). I'm also currently a radio Dj, as well (Wednesday nights 7-10pm).

• Personal checks, cashier's checks, or money orders in my local currency
