My greatest strength as a VOICE OVER ARTIST is my ability to meet the CLIENTS NEEDS, irrespective of what type of "voice" they are seeking. I believe that my voice is both believable and effective whether being used in RADIO AND TV COMMERCIALS, NARRATIONS, PROMOS or other mediums where PROFESSIONAL VOICE TALENT is needed. While I certainly believe I'm most effective as a VOICE OVER ARTIST when I'm being "me", I have done many VOICE-OVERS where my cast of CHARACTERS and/or ACCENTS have come in handy. I believe that no job is too big or too small and I offer unmatched enthusiasm and CONFIDENCE regardless of the size of the paycheck.

My Voice Experience

For the early part of my career I was a behind-the-mic DJ in both small and large markets. During this time I wrote, voiced, and produced hundreds of commercials and promos. Over the years I've voiced everything from local cable TV spots to industrial presentations for a global electronics manufacturer. I came out of the womb talking and I haven't stopped yet. Virtually everyday of my adult life I've been told that I have great voice- some would say I love my voice a little too much:) I believe that everyone is dealt a hand of cards at birth and my winning card is my voice. My Training

I earned a BA from Columbia College in radio broadcasting. I was DJ and occasional newscaster for nearly 10 years. I started in a 2-station town and worked my way quickly to Chicago. I was on air at Windy 100, 93.9 WLIT, and I did news and traffic for The Big 89, WLS. Currently, I teach radio and train future broadcasters at a major Catholic University in Chicago. I also run the University's radio station, thus, I have access to a studio whether I'm at home or work.

My Studio Equipment

I have home studio that is sound proof. My Sony PC is fast and dependable. I use top of the line mics, such as the Shure KSM-44. My Aphex voice processor adds incredible depth and clarity to my voice recordings. I use the most current version of Adobe Audition for editing purposes. I have a JK Audio phone patch and I have easy access to an ISDN studio. Finally, I have an extensive music and SFX library. In other words, when you hire me you are getting a real professional that uses only the best equipment.

Additional Skills

In addition to the flexibility and range of my voice I am also well-skilled with production software and computer-related technologies. I work extremely fast and rarely have I not "nailed" something on the first or second try. I am agreeable and affordable and I can help you to deliver the results that you are seeking.
