I have a voice that is not only serious but full of animation as well. Very good at telling children stories or present a presentation. I have a commanding voice when need be but also can be very warm for narration. I naturally have a deep narrator's voice. I was born in Georgia and raised in Tennessee. I have adapted both of these dialects into my voice

My Voice Experience

For the past twenty years (minus a break of almost ten years) I have waited tables as a second job. During the times I have waited tables, I have had numerous inquiries and suggestions regarding me doing radio, broadcasting, or voice-overs. A couple of months ago I made a promise to a gentleman and his wife that I would pursue using my voice to obtain a job in either broadcasting or doing voice-overs. From all the research I have done, I have found out that the first thing I need is to have a good demo. At the moment, funds have been limited and I have not been able to spend the money required to make a good demo.

So far I have had no experience doing any voice overs. I have just had many many people tell me I should do it.

I have two nieces and a nephew ranging in ages seven to fourteen years. I have many years of reading children's stories. Also, I have a knack of gab. I naturally love to talk. My voice is very distinctive and one that when heard once, most people remember.
