Voice Description

I am a High School English teacher who has become very well known by students and faculty for my ability to mimic voices and accents with precision. I find that my tendency to treat my lessons and units more as a performance than anything helps to keep students interested and gives me the opportunity to do some role paying that involves playing a particular character or demonstrating tone. My interest & experience in voices spans all the way back to my dream as a child of one day doing the voices for my favorite cartoons to doing character voices over the school intercom as a middle and high school student. Now, as an adult, I find that the continued interest has led to my ability to mimic nearly any voice and speak fluently with any accent that I hear only moments after hearing it. I've been told on more than several occassions that I remind others of Robin Williams.
