My Voice Experience
Audio books for Cross of Christ Lutheran School. 50th Wedding anniversary DVD for Will and Shirley Neumann. Radio spots, both live and recorded for Elk River Tire and Auto at Bob 106 in Princeton MN. Winner of the 1987 Hog Calling contest at Friedens Lutheran Church picnic.(This is an area of concentrated pig farmers and the city boy, who spent summers on the farm, came in and won.)
My Training
Have performed on live stage as the Pharoah in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Chorus in Guys and Dolls. I have been doing impersonations since I was 8 years old. Read stories to my children as they were growing up. Performed reading entertainment at Cross of Christ Lutheran School and Ramsey Elementary School.
My Studio Equipment
One studio I am using is a small recording studio that incorporates computer technology. A digital recording card is installed in a computer and accepts input from mixers. Microphones, guitars, and midi equipment can be connected to the mixers which allow for a variety of audio inputs. Once the sounds are recorded to the computer hard drive, a professional level program named 'Cakewalk' is used to edit the audio. Various effects can be added and voice 'cleanups' can be performed though this software. This is a muli track recording software which allows the user to create multiple tracks, and then mix them down for recording. A high quality CD recording drive is used for creating the audio masters.
Additional Skills
The most important element of any project is clear effective communication. The next important element is that of developing the relationship to tailor the project to the clients needs.
