Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects

Most European accents. (British, Irish, French, Italian, Eastern European, Scandanavian) I recently finished a theatrical performance speaking and singing in a strong Norwegian accent. (The role of Uncle Kris in the musical "I Remember Mama"). I have a good "ear" for accents and can usually mimic any I hear with a few minutes listening.

I am currently looking to begin a second career doing parttime voice work.

My Training

Informal and formal instruction in vocal music in high school and a few courses in college. Long history of working in community theatre, especially musical theatre. I sing and read music.

Additional Skills

I have been a singer in church and in local community theatre productions where I am know for my "belting" ability. My late step father was a minister and I used to accompany him to area services playing the piano accompaning myself as I sang for his congragation.
