Voice Description

I specialize in a wide variety of character voices. Anything from a melodramatic 30's style radio drama announcer to a crotchety old geezer. I've voiced powerful heroes, sleazy villains, and sometimes I've voiced both in the same production. Not only do I provide character voices but I'm also adept at narrative and announcer voices ranging from youthful and energetic, to warm and deep, to calm and soothing.

I can incorporate a wide variety of accents into my performances, including British, Irish, Scottish, Southern American, Northern American (ya sure, you betcha!), and New York Mafia style accents

My Voice Experience

Over a decade of working in short videos and films, often creating voices for multiple characters per piece. I've done voice over, narration and ADR work on many of these projects. I've also done work on stage and have some singing experience.

My Training

I've participated in acting classes at both Grand Rapids Community College and Grand Valley State University, each with sections of emphasis regarding voice. Also I've had the benefit of continuous practice over the past decade working on numerous independent projects as well as on my own.

Additional Skills

Aside from voice acting I've done work both in front of and behind the camera, fulfilling roles as an actor, camera man, director of photography, set designer and graphic artist.
