My Voice Experience
For years I provided voice over for films we made in college. I went on into broadcasting and used my vocal abilities to record some advertisements for the stations. After that, I went to work for an on-hold call company. They trained and worked with me to develop a clear, articulate speaking style. I recorded many on-hold advertisemnts for them. Then I was hired to do the voice overs on several on the in-house announcements at my gym. Initially, they were also going to use it for their TV ads, but I never heard my voice for them.
My Training
I have a BA in Communications. I studied television and film production. We used many styles of voice over techniques depending on the project and the medium we were working with. Trained for on-camera broadcasts, but most of my work there was a writer. Training mostly at on-hold job, where they had vocal coaches and took the time to work with me. On top of that, I was raised in and around the theater
