Voice Description
For narrations, I can deliver a warm, believable, and soothing tone. For commercials, I can deliver a sexy, inviting, masculine air; a gossip-like "tell all" rat-a-tat; or an advice-giving authority figure. For presentations, I deliver a smooth, professional even tone that can be urgent and/or upbeat, such as an award ceremony.

My Voice Experience
I have done a great deal of "industry" work, for such clients as Ford Motor Company, University of California at San Diego, San Diego County Office of Education, various biotech firms, Ignite Health (a healthcare advertising agency), and political spots.
These recordings ranged in use from test-taking narration for upcoming graduates of car warranty work (Ford Motor), to presenting categories of student film project award-hopefuls (iVIE, or Innovative Video in Education award ceremony) and the "voice behind the dome" for the Fleet Space and Science Center's "Behind The Dome" multimedia show.
Recent (2009) projects include narration for the San Diego Center for Algae Biotechnology.
My Training
I graduated from a professional voice talent seminar in San Diego where I learned to hone my voice and learn about the industry in general. The seminar also included the creation of a demo tape, which I submitted to various agencies and was picked up by the ShamonFreitas Talent Agency of San Diego several years ago. I average 3 to 6 jobs a year via the agency and have approximately 20-30 professional jobs under my belt.
My Studio Equipment
Do not have my own studio, but have access to a professional studio in my area if the need arises - Diamond Production Group of San Diego. The owner acts as the audio engineer.
Additional Skills
I work in education, in particular, the Information Technology department of SDUSD. I've been an avid reader all my life and am interested in social science, science in general, technology, art, and architecture. I have a very easy going manner, consider myself a diplomat, am able to work with a team and excellent at taking direction.
