My Voice Experience

I have recorded numerous voicemail messages over the years- haven't we all? For myself and several times friends. I have received so many compliments that I thought I would look into the voice over business. So, I contacted a friend who knew someone, spoke to the "someone" on the phone a few weeks later and got a job THAT DAY! I had a blast recording two 30 second spots for a carpet store that I was told will probably run for 2 years based on the last experience with this client. I am open to nearly all types of work and am really excited!!

My Training

I took a video yearbook class in high school where we learned editing, voice over narration, and all the technical aspects of a video production. I really enjoyed it. I have read numerous stories to my children and their friends and classmates through out the years and always leave my audience wanting more as I love silly voices and to make the story come alive. I was a theatre major in college and have had several speaking and drama roles over the years. I love to sing and have been a part of two worship teams and have been known to frequent a karaoke bar or two.

Additional Skills

I have led an interesting and eclectic life and have lots of fun stories to tell. I have been told I am charming and my voice can sound musical at times. I have years of experience in too many fields to list but my most interesting jobs were those of pageant director and "professional" witness when my former employer embezelled millions of dollars from one of his companies and I spent 18 months testifying for the various court systems. (hence some of the interesting stories)
