I've been doing morning show radio for over 10 years, and in that time I've also served as production director in charge of creating, composing, voicing and producing commercials. I've won several small market production awards for my original work. When I worked for KSCB in Liberal Kansas, listeners actually called in to request my commercials. Seriously. I've also created numerous production pieces that I've used in my morning show, highlighting not only my voiceover skills but also my ability to creatively alter my voice with production techniques. I'm fast, accurate, versatile and can get the work back to you the way you want it pronto!
I grew up on stage performing in plays and musicals. I went on to sing for original rock bands for about 15 years before breaking into radio. I took voiceover classes from coach Beverly Bremers and perfected my skills. Since then, my continued employment in the radio business has allowed me to improve and fine tune my talents!
I have access to full professional production facilities in my current workplace and I also have a home studio, using a Shure SM57 microphone, Berringer mixing board and Adobe Audition as my recording program.
Working in the radio industry and doing a 5 hour morning show 5 days a week keeps my chops up and my voice primed, baby!
