Voice Description
I have done plenty of work calling for a sophisticated, young sound. I work on CHR radio, and can appeal both to adults using well enunciated, crisp grammar and to audiences in the 12-24 demo with my younger sound. I'm told I sound like I'm only 26-30 years old. My best work is for projects requiring smooth, tenor delivery.

Accents, Impersonations, Characters and Dialects
I can do character voices of a few Simpson's characters, several characters from Family Guy, and a few political characters as well. I do a great impersonation of Gilbert Gottfried. I can do southern accents (with humorous, exaggerated Southern drawl), New York accents, British accents, and Asian Indian accents. For comedy purposes, I am very versatile.
My Voice Experience
Began doing straight reads for local radio in 1987 for the L.A. market. Later did local radio spots in the North Florida region as part of fulltime radio work. Those included reads for record stores, bars, and clubs. In Colorado during the early 90's, did full nightclub radio spot production, including voicework, for 1 client on a pay-per-month basis. These spots ran on more than half of the radio stations in Colorado Springs. A few years later, did on-air work for Jones Satellite Networks on weekends. My on air product was carried on 140 affiliates nationwide. In the mid 90's, spent two years as a production director in Augusta, GA handling copywriting, voicing spots of every variety and for every type of advertiser, and station promos. In the late 90's, continued fulltime radio work with a morning show in Springfield, MO and nights in Greensboro/Winston-Salem/High Point markets. Early 2000, did middays fulltime in the Greensboro market. From 2002 to 2005, did fulltime once again at a Classic Hits format in that same market. At each of these places, continued to voice and in many cases produce radio spots for advertisers needing everything from gentle straight read, high energy, fun and silly, and all styles in between. Currently, working part time in the Greensboro radio market on Top 40, and recently contracted by the Bloom Agency to voice a straight read, testimonial agency radio spot for Southern Community Bank and Trust.
My Training
The bulk of my training has been derived from local spot and promotional production work as part of the routine duties in local radio. Gained some voice training in the early 1980's as a Radio/TV/Broacasting major at Cal State University, Northridge.
My Studio Equipment
I have free access to the production studios of 107-5 KZL and Rock 92 in downtown Greensboro. These studios feature Cool Edit Pro for multi-track editing and recording. Within the on-air studios, we use Vox Pro for quick, efficient editing of phone calls and interviews. The on-air software is AudioVault, with voicetracking software which I use on a regular basis.
