My Voice Experience
No prior experience in the voice over field. I know that I like to play with my voice and have convinced at least one phone call recipient that I was a recording. After the second time she hung up on me, I pleaded with her not to hang up (Wait, wait, I'm just a human being trying to get information on your products!).
I have had a lot of improvisation training so I can change in a minute and take direction well.
I also perform standup comedy as a hobby and make a point of using deadpan humor to ambush the mind for the punchline. I've been performing on and off for several years.
In general, I have a fairly clean slate to work with and I leave my ego at the studio door.
My Training
I've had several years experience in improvisation training at the Second Stage theater in Anaheim, California. Teacher: Chris Berube.
