My Voice Experience
I've been doing voice overs for four years for clients located on the Central Coast of California, many different types of spots for many different industries, plus hosting two shows that involve interviews, both serious and fun including satire, sarcasm and straight up news-type interviews. I also do the traffic report during the week.
My Training
Learned by working in the industry for the last 4 years. Sound recording class at Monterey Peninsula College in 2006.
My Studio Equipment
I have access to a fully equipped radio station production studio, digital field recorder, hybrid remote mixer, shotgun and various other professional microphones, microphone boom, PC and MAC based editing and tele-prompter software as well as website maintenance, podcasting, editing, file conversion (wave to mp3 for example), cd and dvd creation, on-cd printing and other computer equipment. I can record the VO, add music and convert or export it to a file, create a cd and/or post it to the web or drop it in a web-based storage folder for easy client retrieval.
Additional Skills
I have two radio shows that I create and produce all of the audio. I have done remote broadcasts from foreign countries, tape-delayed interviews, produced the show segments and used ftp to send them to the studio for broadcast. I've done on-location sound recordings for effects and then added voice. I spend 12 hours a week in the studio doing live radio and then archive, edit, convert, and podcast the work. I cut spots for my shows, my advertisers and sponsors.
