Voice Description
I can do warm and conversational for narrations, and smooth and professional for presentations. My niche is what used to be called "an FM voice," but without the Ted Baxter bluster. Too many voices here are "Voice of God" movie-trailer types, or goofy character voices. I'm more normal and not as pretentious.

My Voice Experience
I've been talking since I was 2 years old, and I think I'm getting the hang of it. My day job requires me to make numerous high-level presentations, and I have been a part-time college instructor for 20 years. And I'm not talked out yet!
My Training
Since my kids are unschooled, I'm a great advocate of self-education. I've spent a lot of time researching the field and the market, consulting with successful voiceover actors, and training my voice. I'll leave it to you to judge if I've succeeded. Note: My lack of formal voice training is reflected in my prices - no tuitions to pay off!

Additional Skills
I can make this weird flying saucer noise like Bill Bixby used to do in "My Favorite Martian." I can name the launch dates of all the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo flights. I can do the "Pepperpot" voice from Monty Python, but there's not much call for it.
