I have provided voiceover work for numerous radio and television commercials in my local area. I am also frequently used by OnMedia, the advertising arm of Mediacom cable television, through the Carbondale and Moline, IL, offices. I am also the former producer of a community calendar segment on a local television station, on which my voice was used for two full minutes every weekday morning.
I entered radio as a disc jockey in September of 1987, right out of high school. During m years on the air, I have sought the advice of professional announcers, and, using their advice, I am basically self-taught in the art of proper delivery. I often receive commendations from producers for my attention to proper emphasis, enunciation, etc.
My home studio consists of an Audio-Technica AT4040 studio condenser microphone patched into an M-Audio Fast Track interface. This unit is patched into my Acer Aspire 5610Z laptop computer, and my work is recorded and edited with NCH Audio's WavePad software.
