My Voice Experience
I have been a high school English teacher for over five years now, and one of my most valuable classroom tools is my voice. Whether I'm reading a passage from a novel, a scene from Shakespeare, or a poem by Keats, I try to gain my students' interest by conveying my own passion for, and knowledge of, the material.
Previously, I worked as a voice over artist with TCI Cablevision from 1994 to 1995 - I maintained a "Marketplace" channel which was a sort of video classified section, and the voice overs included thirty-second to one-minute spots for a diverse customer base, including real estate agents, automotive dealerships, public service spots, and the like.
My Training
I was heavily involved in my high school's theatrical program, which generated an interest in the spoken medium. In addition, my teaching career has helped illustrate the importance of proper and interesting delivery while on the toughest stage in the world.

I have a diverse knowledge of literature, which would make me ideal for projects of an academic or literary nature, as well as narration. I also feel that I would excel in the area of character performance.
